New times call for new support.
Social workers and mental health professionals have access to clinical supervision for tough cases, yet many teachers are expected to navigate complex student mental health needs and rapid societal change alone.
As school staff receive more requests for restorative circles, SEL and IEP support while navigating social conflict, violence, and AI within the school walls, teachers may feel overwhelmed and unequipped. Though willing to learn, many teachers would like to have more formalized support on an ongoing basis. This allows them to build new skills, increase their capacity, and develop confidence in their expanded role.
